PNC Online Banking customers without a Virtual Wallet account should use the PNC Mobile Banking app, which is also available on the App Store. Both apps may run on the same device.
(i) PNC does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. However third party message and data rates may apply. These include fees your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage and text messaging services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply. Also, a supported mobile device is needed to use the Mobile Banking App. Mobile Deposit is a feature of PNC Mobile Banking. Use of the Mobile Deposit feature requires a supported camera-equipped device and you must download a PNC mobile banking app. Eligible PNC Bank account and PNC Bank Online Banking required. Certain other restrictions apply. See the mobile banking terms and conditions in the PNC Online Banking Service Agreement.
(ii) Offers are available from participating merchants. Your personal banking information is not shared with the merchants participating in PNC Purchase Payback. Whether you received offers may depend on using your PNC Visa Card, or where you use your PNC Visa card to make purchases. Not everyone will get the same offer. App Logs me out completely and says I do not have virtual wallet
I’m going to complain right here and now because I don’t want to call and unleash my anger at a poor unfortunate soul of an associate and it is super difficult to send an email to PNC Virtual Wallet for some odd reason. Since I first signed up at PNC in September, it has been nothing but trouble. I was completely card-less for a week and they locked me out of the virtual wallet app (vw) completely which meant I needed to go in store to access my account. I took out money but it was completely inconvenient since I don’t like carrying cash. One of the tellers signed me up for vw student when I got to the first PNC so why would it log me out and request proof of identity in person? Needless to say, this app has a huge bug problem that hasn’t been addressed since they switched over from a different layout in early November. I know I need to login every time I open the app which is fine (for security purposes) but why say I don’t have a vw account when I do? I have to constantly uninstall/reinstall in order for me to login. PNC YOU NEED TO FIX THIS.

Not a fan of the new update
I’m giving it two stars to be nice. I really do *not* like the newest update/redo at all. Besides a couple of quirks, the last version usually worked great for me on my iPhone 6 with iOS 10. This version has been slow and laggy since I updated it, and it seems even more useless with the iOS 11 update. It often won’t even allow me to log in and just shows an orange screen, and other times it will say that the service isn’t available. Most times it just won’t let me even log in.
It may be my phone but like I said, the previous version worked great in iOS 10.
The interface isn’t intuitive, except I do like being able to select from my different accounts on the top. However, I wish the buttons would respond quickly when I touch them so I actually know that the program detected that I did something.
Right now it is just terrible that I am not able to even see my account because the app won’t let me past this orange screen.
PLEASE FIX MOBILE APP!
PNC has been a great bank and the Virtual Wallet App is part of the reason my husband and I️ decided to bank with PNC. However, the most recent app update has been THE WORST! We recently moved to an area without a PNC near us and I️ took a job without direct deposit but since there is a feature to deposit checks on the app we did not see this as a problem. WAS I️ WRONG! Every single week for the last four weeks I️ am unable to deposit my paycheck for DAYS because every time I️ try the mobile site is down. This is highly frustrating and changing my opinion of PNC. I️ really hate to bank elsewhere because of a mobile app glitch but having to wait three or four days to deposit my paycheck is unacceptable. Please fix this!!!!!
