Learning about vitamins can be fun
This time Punflay brings you a charming interactive game book called Don and Flip. Kids will have fun learning about vitamins and how they are an important part of one’s daily diet. Narrated by two very lovable and goofy birds named Don and Flip, children will love the way the story teaches and entertains through engaging games at every step of the way.
As parents and educators, we all want kids to learn the basics of healthy eating and good nutrition. But how to achieve that by not sounding too boring? Interactive game books such as Don and Flip gets the message across to little ones through a fun story and engrossing games.
The app tells the story of two birds, Don and Flip spending a lazy day perched on a tree and trying their hands at mischief. Every time they try some mischief, the user gets to play a related game and on winning, learns about a vitamin. There are six elements to the simple plot (each for one of 6 vitamins) to the story each with a game that has to be completed before the child can proceed to the next section. The story opens with Don and Flip dropping apples from the tree, and then jumps to a game where the child is asked to catch apples before they land on frightened worms. As a reward for winning this game, the user’s vitamin power level goes up and he/she gets to find out what vitamins he has acquired from apples. And then the story continues with Don and Flip getting into another round of mischief. There is also the option in the app where kids can choose to know more about each vitamin in an information screen. Tapping on an icon takes you to a page that displays information about it and the foods that are rich in that vitamin. So, your child will see lots of apples, oranges, eggs, spinach and fish in this very informational app. Sure to please parents and kids!
