Awful New User Experience

Texas user

This is an overcomplicated Rube Goldberg machine. After you buy tickets, you immediately get a text telling you to create an account. You also get an email confirming your purchase the mail contains a link.

Then you play the "guess the password rules" game for a while. Once you figure that out, the server won't let you log in -- not even with the link that it just sent you. Why? I'm pretty sure it's because walletini hates you.

Then the big surprise. You can do NOTHING for about 30 minutes until you get the spearate, magical "confirmation" email to activate your account. That first email with the link? That one doesn't count. You need the magic email to activate your account, and that takes 30 minutes. Why does it take 30 minutes? Because walletini hates you.

Eventually, I was able to get the app running and was able to get my tickets to show up in the app. By now, I don't trust walletini at all. Oh look! A button to add to Passbook. That should be a warning: It hasn't been called Passbook for two years. Do I have to say it? No, savinig the tickets to Passbook (now Wallet) doesn't work. Why doesn't it work? Because walletini hates you.

If your theater business is considering using this POS, don't. If as a patron you have an option of will-call or doing print-at-home, do that instead. Why? Because walletini hates you.

Horrible with ZERO customer support

Purchased theater tickets that use this awful service as their only ticket delivery service.

I purchased my tickets the day before the show and received an email with a link directing me to download this app for my tickets. Had to set up an account and still could not access my tickets until I received a “Confirmation” email with a link to activate my account.

The first problem with all of this is that I NEVER received this mysterious confirmation email. Not in spam, not in Inbox, it was just never sent to me. All attempts to log into the app are thwarted by a redirect to “confirmation” email that was never sent.

Second problem is that the app support is TOTALLY non existent. I have sent multiple emails to support account, info account, DM’s to Twitter and Facebook accounts with no response. Not even your textbook support auto-responder.

Now I am just a few hours from the start of my show and I have no access to the tickets I paid for and original email only states that I purchased tickets but doesn’t identify the seats I purchased.

This app was obviously designed by a lone lazy 12 year old who after launch has completely abandoned it in pursuit of other hormone raging pre-teen idiocy.

OK - any app that makes creating a password a "guess what the rules are" process is way too annoying to use.

Every mistake you make in your password prompts a new message telling you what rule you've broken.

I exaggerate a little - the rules are on at least two separate popups (one for characters allowed and required, one for length), but you don't even get those until you type the same password correclty, so (at least for me) it is really easy to get a minimum of 3 different popups before you have success: a) make sure they match (my bad); b) Make sure they have this character and that character ... annoying you didn't tell me at first, but ok; c) Make sure it is of a minmum length ... Grrrr. Rules should always be visible on the screen in which you create your passwords.

Not a good sign, and a sure sign that I'll return to printing my tickets next time.

Maybe if I successfully register on my 4th try, and then I can use it, I'll come back and give it a more positive rating... But for now I'm motivated to vent and will update this review only if I'm motivated to commend...
