Bug fixes and improvements
A successful compilation of ideas.
This game does a lot of things really well. Total control over all your units allows for a strategic approach to bases that is usually unavailable in games of this type. No build times, meaning that once you have the resources for an upgrade it is instant. The graphics are comparable to other modern games and in some areas superior. There is more but these are the things that jump out at me.
From a negative standpoint... I have run into some issues with stability. This could be caused by my old iPad Air, and may be fixable by updates. More concerning, resources are difficult to come by, particularly if you do not avail yourself of the alliance options. However it is only fair to say that with no waiting for build times, the resource collection time actually balances out.
Overall, a worthy entry to a loaded genre. If you like this sort of thing, give it a whirl.
Good game but money PIT
It is a good game and so far the game I spent the most true $$ on it. But when it reaches some mid level, it becomes so hard to move up. 1. The Mining area blocked by big alliances, the allowing of alliance to teams up only made it worse. They need to give more insertion point on each map, and give more maps for mid and upper mid level players, I only see 1 mining map for 38 level and all blocked by alliance, very frustrating. 2. True $$ can buy very little thing now; if $10 can help you move up from command center level 2 to 3 fairly quick, it needs maybe $100 true dollar to move up from CC 5 to 6, or maybe $500 from CC 6 to 7. One more problem is, although gold can be used to top up anything but I suggest developers that if using gold to top up, need a 2nd confirm. I totally don't know when accidentally touched Helipad upgrade capacity which I didn't need at all, but costed me more than 700 gold which worth about $7 true dollar to buy it. It is gone for nothing.
Very Enjoyable and a refreshing change
I love a good strategy game, but many apps require build times and if you are impatient you end up spending more money to advance in the game. And yes this game gives you advancements if you spend money but it isn't for things that are needed to save time. You pay for improvements to your units and base which improve your enjoyment overall. I know you think my reasoning is flawed, but I spend more time attacking and coming up with better strategies than wasting time waiting for builds or units to be built or improve. I've said all this to say, this is a pretty good game and I'll play this over my Clash of Clans, Battle for the Galaxy, or Mobile Strike any day.
