My least favorite weather app

On the design of app. You better be careful when you swipe down to check out the forecast as you can touch on a ad and you will be redirected two and advertisers website. A few years ago I paid for this app so I wouldn't have ads. I guess somehow that expired because the ads are back.
On the radar. Every time bad storms are moving into my area I can only view these storms if I zoom out enough so it shows my whole state. If I zoom in on my county, it's a blanked out box.
Stick with weather and stay out of politics! Your push on the Global Warming subject is over the top! Your forecast for 10 days out is always being adjusted. Even with the best weather forecasting computers known to man, you cannot accurately predict what the weather is going to be 10 days from now. And you expect us to believe you know what's going to happen 1020 or 30 years from now. Predictions from the mid-80s show that New York City was going to be underwater by 2010.
This one time Weather Channel watcher completely stopped watching them on TV due to their big political push.
So give me my app without adds that I paid for, fix the radar, stay out of politics and stick to forecasting weather.

Stupid update gift emblem

I've used this app for years some updates are good some bad but I've never complained cause all and all it's great for keeping up with the weather always has been but this last update with the gift deal and the present in the top corner is starting to tick me off I'm sick of seeing the red circle with the numbers in it and can not get rid of it I want nothing to do with the gifts want nothing to do with checking it want nothing to do with even looking at the thing it's a weather app I want everything to do with checking the weather not some lame gift crap you've added to the app I'm fixing to delete it and use the one my phone came with cause it's just as good as your app it just don't have radar and some cool videos as your app but I promise you if y'all don't fix this soon and very soon I am deleting this app yes it's that annoying get rid of the stupid gift thing with the numbers showing all the time it ticks me off to not be able to get the numbers to go away

Reliable

It's helpful to get alerts for impending bad weather. It really kept busy alerting during all the rain and floods we've had recently. The 1st few times I heard the alert on the iPad I thought a tinny metal lid had fallen on the tile floor and danced to a stop. Another person separately had the same observation! Unsettling when you thought you we're alone in the house! My iPhone was not set for notifications at the time, as a point of reference. I have the feeling that TWC's thermometer is not at the int'l airport here, which would be the most central and obvious location. Haven't been able to get a response from anyone at TWC. I also wonder how the available cities are chosen.
