Explore a stunning new way of visualization with Where To? 3D (iPhone only, available via In-App-Purchase for all devices under your iTunes account, free trial available). Your points of interest will be displayed on top of reality. It‘s more intuitive than ever to check out nearby locations.

Not sure what you want for dinner tonight? Use “Shake to Surprise” to make the choice. Take a chance and find something new and exciting!

“Is the food delicious? The service great?” Where To? collects and displays ratings and reviews from all Where To? and Google users. New reviews can be shared on Facebook and Twitter.

Where To? includes dinner menus for almost 500,000 US restaurants. Compare the menus to select your favorite dining location or make your choice while waiting to be seated.

Found your destination? Then let your iPhone show you the way – using the built-in route planner or any of more than 40 apps from the App Store. The standard Maps app, Navigon, TomTom, MotionX GPS drive, Waze and many others are supported. Not enough? If you’re driving a Mercedes-Benz or Audi equipped with a suitable onboard navigation system, you can send locations right to the car dashboard.

Great app, battery saving tip

This is my app of choice if I need to find any local store, restaurant or business. It's well designed and just works.

I recently experienced that the app used location services in the background. I contacted the support and they promptly helped me. By opting out of the Placed service in Settings > About > Legal and disabling background fetch in the system Settings I could stop this behavior. Not sure if it actually drained my battery but at least it feels good to stop the background location service.

This is one of my favorite apps, and one of the first ones I purchased when first getting an iPhone, 4 years ago. I am totally blind, and it works flawlessly with VoiceOver. Being able to find any kind of place, read the adress, phone number, and even directions, is more enabling than I can express!! Keep up the great work, and always make accessibility a number 1 priority, along with functionality.

Battery drain

This has always been a good app that I use infrequently. Since iOS added the ability to see battery usage by app, I've seen that the background location refresh costs me 2% or more on days when I don't use the app at all.

They've chosen to not include a "While Using" option for their location preferences; it's allow the app to drain the battery when you aren't using it, or allow no access to location (which makes this app kind of useless). I've turned off location services for the app and that's probably the last time I'll use it.
