Customer Reviews

Best interface of the Wikipedia apps I've used

1. Nice interface that's easier to navigate than some of the other Wikipedia readers.

2. Up-to-date content.

3. Fantastic content.

1. Can't use offline. Check out the unrelated Wiki Offline app; it allows you to download the full Wikipedia database then read it offline at your leisure.

2. Can't zoom in on graphics. If you click on the graphic, you're taken to a Wikipedia file page with no graphic. Fix this and this will be a 5-star app.

Add the ability to see the article edit histories and discussion pages; this can help in judging the reliability of articles when I'm reading them. (You can access this in a roundabout way by selecting "open in safari", going to the desktop version then finding the tab and squinting hard).

Great but with one big flaw

This app would be perfect if I had any of the saving function. It doesn't crash for me, it guesses the article I'm talking about when I'm searching, and landscape finally works. It's not slow at all. It puts Wikipedia's official app to shame. But I have no save function! I went to the website and read the details for both the paid and the unpaid versions. The unpaid version is supposed to have a saved-pages tab, with indicators all over the place (the bookmarks, history, and saved tabs) displaying the download status. I don't have one bit of it. (The official app's save function was fine last I checked.)

Text/Pic Cutoff/Hidden/Overlapping

First I want to start off by thanking you for still supporting iOS 4.3.5, for allowing me to change the font size (my favorite feature), and for all of the hard work you put into this application!

I really like your app, but am running into problems when using your app's larger font size settings on my iPod Touch 4th Gen running iOS 4.3.5 where:
- text is hidden or cutoff,
- picture is hidden or cutoff,
- text is overlapping when 300% size used.

For example, these problems exist when viewing the very top of the "iPad mini" article.

Thank you for your help in addressing these issues! I am looking forward to seeing a fix.
