WordUP Japanese contains:
(1) an authoritative two-way (Japanese–English and English–Japanese) dictionary of over 10,000 words, and
(2) a phrase book of over 2,000 commonly-used Japanese phrases.
All words and phrases were compiled by Collins® Dictionaries and feature accompanying audio recordings by native Japanese speakers.

Awesome only 1 problem 4 me
This is a great app. Reading for each word is fantastic. Has many fun and useful modes of study. Customizable lists as well as pre made lists that are useful.
The one thing I need to make this the perfect app for me is the ability to combine study lists together for each of the study options study. For example when starting flashcards or lists etc, I can select multiple study lists (as many as I want) to study at once without having to manually combine the lists and redo all that work. 4 stars till this is added. But if you dot are about this feature, then 5 starts IMO. Il re star 5 stars of they ever add this.
Superb! The best app out there!
Well organized, fun, smart, easy to use yet complex. One of the best performing apps out there. Not a single glitch in the system. It is so much fun to use that I've been on it for hours. I labeled my house, and I'm also able to review my lists and phrases while I walk my dog. Worth the money big time. I would have payed four times the amount for my second language, once I got to experience exactly how wonderful this app is.

Great audio, small dictionary
I was hoping the dictionary would have more entities as this app has a lot of features. But the dictionary is small if you're looking to use this to look up words as you read them in a manga like I was. Too many words aren't in here. To be fair, they may not be words that show up on a test for a language test like the JLPT. Also, there's no kana, just romaji. And no kanji info like you get with Midori or Japanese (the app dictionary).
