What's New in Version 3.2.0

This is the update you’ve been waiting for because Folders is here! So click ‘More’ to learn... more.

If you’re a list-lover and sometimes find your Sidebar resembling an episode of Hoarders, you can now organize them into Folders by clicking and dragging one list onto another. Boom! Your Sidebar is now magically cleaner and super organized.

We’ve made your Sidebar supercalifragilisticexpialidocious by giving it a brand new design and a healthy dose of gorgeous color to make it easier to differentiate between your Folders, Lists, Inbox and Smart Lists.

And finally, we’re super happy to report back that the annoying language switching bug that many of you were reporting has been apprehended by the authorities and won’t be making a ruckus anymore.

So what you think of Folders & the new design? Just leave us a review <3

Short review: I am not giving up Apple’s default reminders app for this, although I wish I could. Mainly because the reminders app is more reliable — especially if you need to work across multiple devices where one of those devices is your iPhone. I also prefer the more efficient way the Reminders app moves tasks between lists and deletes tasks.

My favorite feature in Wunderlist is the folders and I like the potential of sharing a to-do list with other people. What is going to drive me back to the Reminders app is the unreliable mobile application performance. UNRELIABLE as in now you see your folders and tasks on your phone and then you don’t. This happens too often when you move your phone from a wifi environment to LTE. If you don’t mind the inconvenience, you can usually remedy the disconnect by logging out and in — with that tiny iPhone keyboard. You’ll have time for that every time you need to use your phone to look at a to-do list, right? I hung with this for a few weeks, but eventually, the mobile app flaked out on me one too many times. I just can’t take the frustration of lists going away on my iPhone unless I make the effort to login again on that tiny tiny virtual iPhone keyboard.

With love for Wunderlist, I say to the developers, please fix the disconnect/sync problem in the mobile app, rethink the extra entry required to delete a task, figure out how I can move tasks between lists without a mouse on a mobile device.

Great for My Adult ADD

Wunderlist levels the playing field for me. I need one place to go when I get stuck and can’t think of what I should be doing. Wunderlist. I tried 6 or 8 similar apps. They were cool, but then I tried Wunderlist. I have a category for each project or responsibility. I can see everything at once for the day or the week - or break out just the very most important things I’ve marked with a star.

With Wunderlist, I can break one big event into many smaller parts by using the “subtasks” as steps. I Iike to fill in boxes and mark them done! Sometimes I put finished things on the list just so I can check them off. It was fun and easy to create categories, entering tasks and continually tweaking. Once done, it’s awesome! If I think of something I want to remember for a particular meeting or task, I just put it in the note section provided for each task.

in staff meetings, I enter my action items to Wunderlist as they are discussed. I often lost my notes. What I thought I could remember later, I often couldn't. My Admin Assistant lays out projects and timelines and gives me tasks and deadlines for which I need to take responsibility - And I put them right into Wunderlist. It’s not perfect. I still have to enter the information. It works very well between my iPhone and my laptop.

Love this app

I am not usually one to write reviews on apps, but I LOVE this app. This app is the main app that keeps me focused on schoolwork tasks and overall chores. I use this app to keep track of shopping lists, a list of supplies I need for future crafts projects in case I’m out shopping and see a good deal, and homework tasks. At the beginning of each semester I take the time to sit down and add all of my homework assignments in for ever class, using a hashtag for each course, and assigning due dates as I go. Thanks to Wunderlist’s features, I am able to quickly see what is due in what class. With the addition of subtasks, if an assignment has multiple parts I am able to list those. With the new addition of folders, this is an app that keeps getting better and better.

My roommate and I have a running list of places that we want to go out to eat and try some day. Having the shared list is cool and I can only imagine it would be better if we had to buy food or other grocery items (we are in college with a meal plan).

I strongly suggest this app to all of my friends and have gotten several friends to use the app, as well as people that I tutor at my college’s writing center.
