Worst Customer Service Ever

Using this app for email is fine, but when I wanted to use it with voice2go, the nightmare began. The number xfinity gave me returned an error message. The first customer service rep kept trying to tell us that they did not support secondary numbers, even though it was the number that had given us, had activated, and showed up in the app.

Numerous transfers. Numerous people promising to call us back. With the sixth or seventh reinstall it's working on and off on one account but not the other. And did I mention how it notifies us of calls made to the landline even though we have notifications turned off?

The app is fine when it works. Just don't rely on Comcast when it does not.

V6 is broken

I had this version downloaded to my iphone6 and now unable to navigate the email messages screen except in top 20% of screen. Also fails to handle the landscape mode when phone is rotated. It was working fine with previous version.

When trying to get tech support, was placed on hold 3 times and then kicked back to the security questions...going on 40 minutes.

The customer service is terrible and has only gotten worse over the years. If there was another cable provider, I would switch just for a chance to improve customer service.

Don’t use with iOS public beta

This app is draining my iPad’s battery in a day. Checking the Battery settings shows it consumed 98% of all battery usage for that same period. This makes no sense because I am connected to my home network, so it shouldn’t be searching for an Xfinity connection. I don’t like Comcast’s attempts to get everyone to “donate” their bandwidth to anyone within range. I don’t use their Gateway modem at all, and I have my own router. I’m not stingy but why should I let some “drive by” person do who-knows-what with my IP address?
