Where's the multitasking support? Usage of screen real-estate.

Brand new update. A couple things I notice on the iPad version.
1) Still no multitasking support from iOS9. They implemented within-app multitasking a while back, but still haven't been able to utilize the now built-in system-wide multitasking. This should be fairly straight-forward, so what's the holdup? With an all new design, this should have been the time to add it in.
2) The app makes very poor use of the screen real-estate. Lots of toolbars/navbars are mostly empty, leaving much of the content only visible from a small percentage of the screen. A better usage of the screen would be to consolidate mostly empty navbars.
3) A minor thing, but when viewing in landscape, you have to scroll down pretty far in the sidebar through a bunch of suggested videos to even get to the comments. There should probably be a shortcut to that, because you wouldn't even know that's where they were buried unless you repeatedly scrolled through the a bunch of unrelated stuff.

I mean it's ok, but...

I have to say that the new update is definitely more aesthetically pleasing than the last version. It definitely looks a lot nicer, but along with that comes the interface. I have to say that I think the interface is a step in the wrong direction. The old versions had a side menu where you could easily see your subscriptions and everything else. Now your subscriptions are put into a tiny bar at the top of the subscriptions section that does not neatly organize them. If you have a lot of them, it can be quite challenging to find a particular one. The whole interface just feels harder to use, and harder to find things, and in my opinion, it feels more cluttered. The update says it is easier to find things and to use in general, but I feel that it is the opposite. You don't have to agree with my opinion, but I liked the old version better, and I wish I could downgrade back to it.

Give me a break google

The new update which is cool and all doesn't make it easier for me to find what I wanna watch. The new tabs remind me of the snapchat updates where there are more tabs and swipe stuff which ends up complicating things. The old system was fine, because I could look watch a video while scrolling through my channels list just to the side. Now I can't que up videos for myself anymore. With the icons of the channels cool I like that. But wait, who's icon is that? And what about these 3 icons that are the default ones? Idk, maybe add their name! Wait but noah, that's still there except you gotta go through 4 tabs to end of finding it and it's listed all 300 of your subscriptions. Still needs a favorite channels list to quickly find the channel u watch the most.

Come on alphabet/Google/YouTube,step it up. Or else your stocks Will crash one day.
