Notas editoriales de iTunes

Yuna is a dazzling pop gem who's barely known in the U.S., though that's about to change. The Malaysian artist has won a variety of music awards in her own country (including numerous AIM awards, the equivalent of the GRAMMYs®). She recently began enjoying American acclaim with her first U.S. release, the EP Decorate, released in March 2011. She’s garnered "new artist to watch" spotlights from the likes of MTV and Spin magazine. Now Yuna, her self-titled full-length release, shimmers with a mature, sophisticated brand of pop (think Adele or Norah Jones). Melodies sway and swing, with Yuna’s breathy, earthy vocals moving with ease in and out of burbling piano notes, gauze-wrapped percussion, and gentle string glissandos. “Lullabies” opens with an intimate, sensuous feel, perfectly setting the tone for other jewels like the bluesy “Stay” and the sweetly lovestruck “Tourist.” Tracks like “Remember My Name” and “Fading Flower” pump up the pop quotient with bubbling yet understated exuberance, while the single “Live Your Life” is quietly mesmerizing. Beautiful!
