"My Heart Goes Boom (La Di Da Da)" is an average Eurodisco dance track. The beat goes at an aerobic rate, and the singer describes romantic sentiments straightforwardly, her English suffering only the occasional lapse, such as when she pronounces "wrap" as "rup." She sounds more comfortable reciting in French or just repeating the nonsense syllables of the subtitle. There are three versions of the song; the second adds fuzzy electronic effects, while the third seems faster and features sound effects reminiscent of a fire fight in Star Wars.
