In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories would have to be singing in church. I grew up in the church and was always offered the opportunity to sing solos & in the choir weekly. Singing in front of the congregation will always be a lasting memory. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 112, 112 Brandy, Never Say Never PARTYNEXTDOOR, PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO Brandy - Amazing from Brandy’s angelic harmonies to Darkchild’s signature production style. 112 - so tastefully made from start to finish & the group’s warm blend. PARTYNEXTDOOR - so unique and creative. The sound production will forever inspire me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Heals All” because it is the first song I have released as a solo artist. This debut self produced & self-written single is so introspective, as I wrote the song about agape love. Primarily the beautiful exchange that happens between God and oneself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working on Daniel Caesar’s Juno nominated project “Case Study 01” by providing additional vocals on the song “Too Deep to Turn Back”. This was my first music placement ever. It will forever be a lasting memory getting to sing with Daniel Caesar. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many milestones I would love to meet and accolades that I long to acquire. As an artist and producer, I would love to win a Grammy one day. To have my artistry recognized like so many of my own inspirations would be an honour truly.
