About Bo Katzman

Born Reto Borer in April of 1952, Bo Katzman was a successful bandleader and gospel singer whose professional career began in the mid seventies, albeit under different names. In 1979, he officially adopted the moniker Bo Katzman, and released his first album, The Kat. Throughout the remaining seventies and eighties, Katzman worked to become a household name in Switzerland, culminating in the creation of the Bo Katzman Choir in 1987. For the next decade, Katzman toured exclusively with his Choir, until 1998, when he again hit the charts as a solo artist with the single "Voices of Paradise." 2001 found Katzman on the road in a rock and roll guise, but that would prove to be the final go-around for that style of music and Bo Katzman. From then on, he would focus on the Bo Katzman Choir, which released the 2007 full-length Soul River, an album that broke through to the top twelve in Switzerland, and furthered his successful sales records. ~ Chris True
