In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started on the piano when I was 5 or 6, mostly studying classical music. I began playing alto-sax at 11 and picked up the tenor & flute a few years later. Around that time, my saxophone teacher played me the famous Live at Massey Hall concert. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bud Powell, Charles Mingus, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, The Quintet: Jazz At Massey Hall (Live) [Remastered] Johnny Hodges, Leon Thomas, Oliver Nelson, Three Shades of Blue Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Three of my earliest jazz influences on vinyl - "Desert Island Albums".
