Dove Cameron is an actress and pop singer best known for the Descendants film franchise. ∙ In 2012, she gained fame by playing both lead roles in the TV series Liv and Maddie, and in 2018 she won an Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Program. ∙ Cameron made her musical debut in 2013 covering Imagine Dragons’ “On Top of the World” for the soundtrack album Liv and Maddie (Music From The TV Series). ∙ She had a starring role in the Descendants musical film franchise, which produced a No. 1 hit album with its Gold-certified first soundtrack in 2015. ∙ In 2016, she and Liv and Maddie costar Ryan McCartan formed the pop duo The Girl and the Dreamcatcher and released an EP, Negatives. ∙ Making her official solo debut as a pop artist, she recorded the EP Bloodshot/Waste in 2019.
