About Jonathan Antoine

Classically trained English vocalist Jonathan Antoine first rose to popularity as a contestant on the sixth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2012, as one part of classical crossover duo Jonathan & Charlotte with his friend Charlotte Jaconelli. Together they went on to finish runners-up with performances of "Caruso" and "The Prayer," and were immediately offered a record deal on Simon Cowell's Syco label. Antoine had previously won plaudits at a young age, and was crowned Young Musician of the Year at the 2010 Stratford and East London Music Festival before attending the Royal Academy of Music to further his training and develop his impressive voice. He went on to release two successful albums with Jaconelli, first 2012's Together and then Perhaps Love, which arrived in 2013. After their success together, they parted ways and separate solo deals at Sony Classical followed. Antoine's first outing, Tenore, was released by the label in the fall of 2014. His sophomore album, Believe, appeared a couple of years later in 2016 on the independent classical label Cavendish Records. ~ Scott Kerr
