Mendoza Hoff Revels

Mendoza Hoff Revels is a New York City--based quartet offer a powerful meld of 21st Century progressive rock played by punk rockers with master level improvisational skills and a deep vanguard jazz. They compose memorable originals abundant with catchy riffs, vamps, melodies and grooves. Founded and led by guitarist/ composer Ava Mendoza and bassist / composer / arranger Devin Hoff, its other members include saxophonist James Brandon Lewis and drummer Ches Smith. Echolocation, their 2023 AUM Fidelity debut, offered eight compositions credited equally to Hoff and Mendoza; they both co-produced.
