About Myles Boisen

Myles Boisen graduated from Western Washington University in 1979 with a self-designed major in 20th-century media and contemporary art. He is active in the San Francisco Bay Area and has several recordings of jazz and improvised music. He is record review editor of Roots & Rhythm, has contributed to Down-Home Guide to the Blues and the San Francisco Weekly magazine, and is editor and contributor for the newsletter of the Improvised Music Association.
