Rachel Taylor has had quite the journey. She was the voice of indie pop duo He Is We with Trevor Kelly before a controversial split in 2012. That year, Taylor developed health complications that were later diagnosed as ankylosing spondylitis, and she had to leave the band's tour. She was replaced by a new singer and the band continued under a different name. Once the dust settled, Taylor went forth as a solo artist, releasing the solo EP Come Alive (Republic) under her own name in 2014. A year later, she created a new project called She Is We, releasing a pair of singles ("Boomerang" and "Flatlining") in late 2015. Her debut LP, War (Concord Music Group), was scheduled for release in early 2016. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
