In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first show that I'd ever played was during a high school talent show. It was the first time that I'd ever sang in front of people. I was so nervous that I wore a ridiculous costume and crazy green makeup, that no one would notice my inexperience Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Condone” This song is about political persecution and the only time that I've ever felt afraid to be in my own country. I'd written all of the music, but I couldn't get the lyrics down until I took all of the fear in me and let it out into this song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my songs was in a car commercial. That was cool, but I felt even cooler when I was getting airplay on the college radio station that I grew up listening to.
