A punishing American death metal quartet based in Northern California, the Kennedy Veil was formed in 2009 around a shared love for bands like Aborted, Cattle Decapitation, and Behemoth. Founded by guitarist Casey Childers (Forktung), drummer Gabe Seeber (Alterbeast, Decrepit Birth), vocalist Cody Walker (Skribble), and bassist Shawn Peterson, the band released their debut album, The Sentence of Their Conqueror, independently in 2011. They subsequently joined the roster of California-based extreme metal label Unique Leader Records, and in 2012 began working on the follow-up to their debut with new vocalist Taylor Wientjes. The resulting Trinity of Falsehood was released in 2014. Three years later, the band returned with Imperium, which marked the studio debuts of vocalist Monte Barnard and bassist Tyler Hawkins. ~ James Christopher Monger
