Milli Vanilli - My brother and I, when we were 18, got lucky when we sent 3 demos to Frank Farian for Milli Vanilli’s debut album. While the Grammy unfortunately had to be returned, the music was celebrated globally at the time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Keith Jarrett, The Köln Concert (Live) Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Best of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Supertramp, Breakfast In America (Remastered) Keith Jarrett's piano improvisation is a major inspiration for me! The soundtrack of my life. Supertramp's songs embody many of my child hood memories. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's mind-bending range opens a whole new world of emotions. As kids we had a vacation with her in Cannes, France. We slept at the beach for two weeks and lived on left-over food from food stalls. It taught me not to take anything for granted. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? At the 52nd Grammys, my Beyoncé song, ‘If I Were A Boy’, wasn’t nominated. I was disappointed when Halo got the attention instead. But, when Beyoncé went on stage, she instead chose to perform my song - which caused me nonstop chills throughout. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Most of my bucket list items have been fulfilled from a career that has exceeded my wildest dreams. But if I could add one more, it’d be to reach an audience with my Artist Project, “Piano Diaries”.
