A friend of mine recommended this app, as he had tried a lot of other photo booth apps before and was never satisfied with the provided features. Due to the fact that I am even more skeptical and also not easy to satisfy when it comes to photo apps I downloaded this one.
First of all I have to say that 149$ are a lot money and buys you a lot of ice cream, but what you get here is even better ;). The simplicity of the standard feature is great. You start the app and you are ready to got. It provides a lot of standard setting without having to dive deep in settings menu.
But if you want to, there are almost no limitations to what can be done with this app when it comes to party or wedding photography (to point out just two use cases). You just place your ipad, maybe in some nice frame and the people will explore on their own - fun guaranteed.
The feature that astonished me the most, is the built in collage builder - If you for example take 4 pictures in a row, you can easily create a collage where you can assign each picture an angle, dimension and position and even a personalized background - thats some fancy functionality. Never seen this before on a photo booth app. There are a lot other features which are really cool, and I just cannot provide a documentation of the whole app, just try it out, it’s worth it. The only thing I found, you could criticize is the orientation lock (the app only works in landscape mode), but to be fair this is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage. Summing up,….ice cream is tasty but this app is awesome….

I am using this app since the very first day it came out because I had to shoot a wedding very soon and was a bit in a hurry.
Did not have much time to compare it with others it was my first choice and to be honest, it was the right decision for me. With the direct upload feature to my laptop I was able to print the images taken in almost real time without blocking the photo booth itself. Thanks for that feature, this is much better than any direct print solution.
Got more time now to try out other features I find more and more cool things every day. This App is really made from a photographer for photographers ;-)
