My wines in Alsace

Alsace is a beautiful wine district that produces some of the world’s most fantastic white wines. For a long time now I have enjoyed a close relationship with this region and I would like to share some of my experiences and the affection I have for the wine, food, people and villages there. In this book, thirty four interesting wineries, five charming villages, four excellent restaurants and two very comfortable hotels are described from a highly personal perspective.



As a photographer by profession, I have endeavored to achieve my objectives through the use of a camera; however, I also use the written word to describe the charismatic profiles and celebrities that I have met from this world of wine. The book is intended to be used as a source of inspiration prior to visiting the region or as reference material on the subject of wine. 



In the book Rikard Nilsson has created 5 exciting recipes. Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir are all used as a delightful accompaniment to food from Scandinavia.
