A Nice Debut

Amerie popped up on the scene accompanied by Rich Harrison's crisp production and steady use of samples with the single "Why Don't We fall In Love?" A different voice than the rest in R&B at the time, Amerie has not been marketed as well as she could be. This is a nice debut with some lovely lyricism and great use of the music. Amerie may not have the best voice but she is sticking to her guns by pushing forward and trying still.

Amerie - All I Have

An average debut album from Amerie but don't worry as the next three albums that followed only got better! It's mostly a chilled and laidback R&B album with mostly ballads which is OK if you're listening to it when you're in that laidback mood.
