If you don

There are many ways you could form an opinion of Kesha, but I personally opt for the most relevant, which anyone who's LISTENED to her album would say is 'sincere'.

Yeah yeah some people will probably go on about how she's 'cashing in' or trying to 'exploit audiences' but come on, she sings about a guy she stalked, how much more 'expressive' do you want?? To be honest, if I were to sing about my OWN life, most of it would be quite a few songs about studying and going insane during exams - I'm a classic literature student.

So, quick rundown of the music. Blind, Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, Hungover, and new addition The Harold Song are brilliant. They don't try to justify their expression with particular instruments or by appealing to 'indie' constructions - they're heartfelt and emotional, that's all they need to be. Stephen, Party at a Rich Dude's House, and Grow a Pear; might seem like a random mish mash to bring up, but not many artists can lay claim to have written songs that are so crudely honest - couldn't have been done better. Then you have Cannibal, Blow, Tik Tok, actually, scratch that, about 90% of the album, will have you dancing in your room.

To be honest? If you're a cultural elitist, walk on. But if you like ANY of her stuff, the chances are the rest wont disappoint. I have respect for this chick, proud fan. Being able to look at her song credits and tell others she WROTE everything on the album makes me able to appreciate her immensely as not merely a 'pop icon' or even a singer, but as an artist. Who cares if she uses sound effects and auto tune, last I checked paint was an inorganic substance - artificiality extends and elaborates artistic vision, embrace it. Art is about expression, let the girl preach and listen to her music for what it is (awesome) - you'll live longer.

SUMMARY: Amazing value, amazing songs, amazing artist, well worth the purchase.

Omg I'm obsessed :D I love Ke$ha im seeing her in march <3

Same sound

nothing has changed from her album you still have the same autotuned sound that everyone seems to do these days. Then again most people that are on the radio can't sing anyway, with out the aid of autotune

A brash and driven pop singer/songwriter, Kesha (Kesha Rose Sebert) was born in Los Angeles but moved to Nashville when she was four, where her mother -- a longtime songwriter -- had inked a publishing deal. (Over a decade prior to that, Pebe Sebert's biggest success had come with "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You," originally recorded by Joe Sun and later by Dolly Parton.) Before finishing high school, Kesha returned to L.A. for the sake of jump-starting her own music career, despite being...
