Customer Reviews

The kind of music that reminds me of nothing, but brings everything out in me...

I only recently got into crystal castles after seeing them on skins, performing 'Alice Practice' but ever since that, i have LOVED them - their sound is so unique, a bizarre assimilation of electronic beeps combined with the haunting and startling voice of alice glass...it raises hairs on your body and puts you in a trance-like state. You have to let yourself go along with the music and try not to judge it, because this is the best way to full understand the power behind the songs and the intense emotions they evoke. The sound really brings something out in you. This album is incredible and shows that the duo can completely reinvent themselves - it seems to include more vocals, which gives it something more :) Highlights for me are baptism and pap smear.

Superb

Biography

Formed: 2003 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Genre: Electronic

Years Active: '00s, '10s
