Album Review

Just like Soulja Boy’s 2008 release iSouljaboytellem, this 2010 effort offers fun and simple singles that live or die by their hook, and if you’re in the midst of a full-on party, you’ll respond “bammer bammer bammer” just like you’re supposed to when the party rapper offers “Speakers Going Hammer.” “Pretty Boy Swag” brings welcome reminders of when everyone was asking for their chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side, and 50 Cent appears for the team-up “Mean Mug,” an enjoyable mix of G-Unit thugging and ringtone rap wilding out, The DeAndre Way has already offered up a weekend worth of highlights.

Soulja Boy 2010

he's a pretty decent rapper if u like 50 cent you will like this because they both have very simalar music. the best song would have to be blowing me kisses, but the best thing about it is that he doesnt really rap and thats a score for any rapper if u can rap AND sing. another highlight was speakers going hammer, it's probably the best song lyrically on the album. but i know any and every one of u rap fans will buy the song mean mug if u don't your pathetic lol cuz ofcourse it has 50 cent in it. but whats probably gonna get this album huge is that he's rapping with one of the biggest rappers alive (50 cent) this is a good buy but the only REALLY dissapointing thing is that it only has 10 songs i mean come on? thats really slack but anyway buy the album it's priced well.

hes come along way

I remember back when Crank That hit the scene and I was like whos this little punk thinking he can rap? sadly not much has changed except for his use of profanitys. This kid still has not got any real tallent, and what has he done to his face, im all for tattoos, but come on kid on the face thats gonna look bad when you fifty.

dont u just remember wen crank dat came out it was AWESOME. But now look. Soulja has been a grate rappr back then but now. u could do better soulja boy.

Mississippi rapper Soulja Boy mixes a bit of Atlanta's party-oriented "snap music" with harder Mississippi and Chicago hip-hop into a sound he calls "Shylantasippi." This unique blend comes from having been born in Chicago but raised in Atlanta and then Mississippi, where the rapper hooked up with the Palm Tree Promotions team. Palm Tree put Soulja Boy in local showcases, but he was also uploading his music to the Internet on his own. Numerous downloads of his early tracks "I Got Some Bapes" and...
