Take all of the greatest, most interesting musical experiments by Jack and weave them into something unseen and completely fresh, but somehow very familiar too and you have Blunderbuss. This is such a full record with a lot of variation in styles but still unmistakably Jack White.I love it.

Pure genius

The time has come. Jack White's first solo album has finally debuted. And what a debut it is. Quite simply, it's a masterpiece.

Jack has masterfully crafted music from his soul which blends different, seemingly incompatible genres – and all in the usual Jack White way: perfectly creatively, refined.

Many of the songs' style are somewhat of a departure from his previous work, yet when you listen to it, you can immediately tell it's distinctively and most certainly a Jack White work of art. In fact, any avid fan of his would be able to detect all the elements which make it so. If you're but a White neophyte, then this album is perfect for you – it provides unadulterated music which is sure to refine your tastes and expand your appreciation of fine, authentic music. Yes, people – this is REAL music.

All in all, I know I've found my album of the year. Now excuse me while Jack White's unrestrained coolness melt away my worries.

Absolutely brilliant.

Although White's nasal voice and loose, fiery guitar delivery were mainstays of the White Stripes' early work, the group branched...
