A good cohesive album with a few suprises

This is a good mix of tunes. The first disc has a brilliant selection of new music which retains the original flavor of Concord Dawn sound. Most of the music on the first disc is not far a leap from the earlier stuff from the album “Disturbance” with those distinctive builds leaving you anticipating the first climax. However there are a couple of surprises like “Lost at Sea” which is a slow definite chill-out track with no breaks and “Never give up on love” which is an uplifting, positive dub track with a definite “Salmonella dub” groove to it and features some great vocal samples by Tiki if you don’t get the desire to dance to this track, you will at least be tapping your feet! “Say your words” was also a surprise with what I think might be the first Female vocals I’ve heard on a Concord track, definitely a good combination. In general the first track seems to be quite a good spread of old and new styles, along with some well progressed experimentation with new samples and a perhaps a lot more vocals than you would normally find, this is not a bad thing at all. The style is a balance of new and old. The second disc is a gapless mix of an interesting and thoughtful selection of tracks from the first album and some earlier music from uprising, fans of their first album “Concord dawn” and “Disturbance” might be a little disappointed with no selections from these two albums making in to this mix CD, but will be pleasant surprised with the “some” of the mixing and combinations. The second disk seems to be more of a “Bonus” but will please those who enjoyed “Uprising”. In general I am pleased with this album; I think it’s a slight evolution from previous works, as each album seems to have been. I’m a big fan of previous works and would have been pleased to hear more from the “Kog Transmissions” days but I enjoy the subtle changes introduced in this album after “Uprising” (which took me a while to get in to, and I still don’t fully like).

Drum & bass perfection

This album is superb, definitely the best drum & bass I've come across. There's so many different soundscapes. While some of it is hard and fast, you never really feel 'worn out' from listening to it; which is just as well, because I have Concord Dawn littered throughout my regular playlist. Highly recommended, I hope these guys keep making awesome albums like this one.

If i could hug their songs, i would!
I love this album, everything from Man of All Seasons to Broken Eyes & Fly Away Home.
Great album to listen to at full volumn! Concord's best if you ask me!
