Album Review

For his 13th solo album, Ashes & Fire, the prolific singer/songwriter Ryan Adams recruited legendary producer Glyn Johns, who helmed the Who classic Who’s Next. A true artist makes truly great music!

I can't stop loving this album, every song is great. Reminds me of Counting Crows August & Everything After where the album is like one giant amazing song split into 12 sections. It's so good I'm buying the CD as I want to hear the clarity and read the liner notes and lyrics.

Album of the year

Ryan comes back with easily his best album to date ( Jacksonville City Limits comes a close 2nd). Truly brilliant writing, wonderfully sparse arrangements great production from the legendary Glyn Johns....I've bought CD and ordered the deluxe version with Tshirt, Vinyl and other bonuses. If you loved springsteen's Nerbraska, you'll love this. 11/10.
