Album Review

Confess is the second studio album from Twin Shadow. The creative moniker of George Lewis Jr, this record is a highly crafted and fresh follow up to his 2010 debut Forget. Still drawing upon New Wave and 80s pop as references, Lewis Jr said that the album was inspired by motorcycle rides he took in Los Angeles after a long hiatus following an accident., Rovi

Twin Shadow brings 80s to now

Twin Shadow's new album 'Confess' brings the 80s sound into 2012. Doesn't get better than this. Check out 'five seconds'.

Excellent and surprising

Stumbled on this one.
A really enjoyable album. Each track has it's appeal and on the first 2 listens I really am starting to like some stand out tracks like "Run my heart" and "Beg for the Night". I'm still to fully appreciate this album as I can tell that with more listens I'm going to love more individual tracks.
As a complete album it works well. Beautifully and surprisingly composed from arrangement to lyrics. George Lewis has a cool voice aswell.
This is going to be a long term favorite. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this genre.

Not as good... his debut and the dreadful album cover doesn't help.
