VAMPIRE WEEKEND!!!! no. 1 hit!

this album is just as great as Vampire Weekends First album.... if not EVEN BETTER!
it still has the same afro pop feel to it. but even though it is all just a bunch of Cool
and unique sounds it still makes sense. my no.1 pick for album of the year!
well done Vampire Weekend!

Where can I buy said Horchata?

I have to admit that when i first listened to the songs I was a bit freaked out. "This doesn't sound anything like their first album!" however after listening to "Giving Up the Gun" and "Diplomat's Son" i realised just how awesome the album is. It's that same mix of unusual beats, rythms and instruments that made their debut album so good to listen to except instead of Cape Cod and Boston it's Mexico and LA. I love this album so much and any Vampire Weekend fan that believes that they've sold out either has ear plugs in or severe schitzophrenia. Anyway, it's better than Ke$ha insisting to brush her teeth with alcohol cause she has no friends (even Paris Hilton hates her).

It's Going To Be A Contra Weekend.

This album is amazing. I am in romantic love with every track. It's something you can put on and not want to skip the second half of every song. The beats are eclectic and the originality of their first album is maintained. The tracks vary in style whilst Koenig's unusual and refreshing voice is constant in every track. With songs like Cousins, Horchata and Holiday this album is worth the $16.99, if not more.

Mixing preppy, well-read indie rock with joyful, Afro-pop-inspired melodies and rhythms, Vampire Weekend grew from one of the first bands to be championed by music bloggers into a Grammy Award-winning act that helped define the sound of the 2010s. Hailing from New York City, Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio, Rostam Batmanglij, and Chris Tomson formed the band early in 2006, when they were finishing up their studies at Columbia University. Taking their name from a short film Koenig made during his freshman...
