I'm as old school of a Mastodon fan as there are, every album to me has stood out individually because it showcases the boys ability to evolve and progress into a new sound which makes them an incredibly dynamic, new and refreshing artist to be a fan of. I hear this song and all I want to do is rock the hell out and that is what you want from Mastodon. When I look at the evolution of Mastodon it makes me think of Queens Of The Stone age and how they have evolved from stoner metal into the kings of hard rock. Mastodon are their own unique band but they are moving in the same direction and it's going to bring new fans and mainstream attention but I'm okay with that. They deserve the success and I can't wait to see The Hunter live. ROCK ON!

Mastodon bring it

Love the singles released so far from the Hunter, more of a rock sound for them, really pleased they continue to make all their albums different from the last....Black tongue nice n nasty, Curl of the burl....yep she`s a winner, sticks in your head. Buy it nowwww.

Yeah Mastodon!

This is a brilliant move from the Mastodudes. We were promised a super-heavy sabbath/zeppelin album and going off this track, I think that's what we'll probably get. Mastodon inherently showcases a lot of classic rock elements that really shine through in this song, more so than in their previous work. It's not what "real fans" or fans of prog/underground metal might expect from Mastodon, but I, for one, am enjoying it a heck of a lot. Bring on The Hunter!
