The pioneering Spanish rap crew El Club de los Poetas Violentos (C.P.V.) reunited after a ten-year hiatus in 2009 and announced a new studio album in the works. Tentatively titled La Gloria o la Ruina (the track of the same name would eventually become the album's first single), it was finally released in May 2012 as Siempre. Largely produced by the +Graves duo (C.P.V. members Jota Mayúscula and Supernafamacho), Siempre offers 15 new doses of classic C.P.V. sound and attitude: hard-hitting hip-hop Madrid style, driven by the distinctive voices of their five MCs.

Also known as El Club de los Poetas Violentos, this seminal Spanish rap crew was formed in Madrid around 1993 by MCs El Meswy, Mr. Rango, Paco King, Supernafamacho, and Frank-T, as well as DJ Jota Mayúscula. After a series of demos, C.P.V. released their debut LP, Madrid, Zona Bruta, in 1994, often considered the first true hip-hop album by a Spanish act. Soon after, Frank-T left to pursue a solo career.
