Album Review

Butler is best remembered for the title track (a country heartbreak style song) but this album is quite versatile and, in one instance, quite innovational (check out the 'fuzz' guitar solo on "Wonder Drug"). Butler's wife, Pearl, also joins him on several of the songs including the title track.

Butler was playing the guitar and singing at the age of 12 and writing songs and playing local clubs by the time he left high school. He saw military service in Europe and North Africa from 1944-46.
