Not Another Here Come The Drums

Before I go to far if u are expecting another Here Come The Drums you will be a bit disappointed. I listened to the iTunes preview of some songs and was a little disappointed myself. I downloaded this album off here as i normally buy the cd and im glad i downloaded it. Better in the Dark is a step forward by the Rogue Traders who hav followed the current trend of creating a new sound for a third album. Here Come The Drums had more of a basic rock element to it but Better in the dark incorporates that and evolves it but adds more of an electro feel to the sound of the Rogue Traders. The first single clearly shows this as it has a harder rock sound to it than anything on their previous album. As on Here Come The Drums there are a few softer and slower songs but they are more evenly spread throughout the album. Of these I believe the best would be Childlike. For me the album builds to a peak of three songs that are towards the end. These are On Your Way to the Disco, 8th Wonder of the World and Better In The Dark. These three songs are pur pop/rock/electro classics and all have the potential to be hit singles. It has a good mix of songs and would please almost all lovers of pop/rock music. Other standouts include Dont You Wanna Feel, I Never Liked You and Calling All Lovers. The Rogue Traders have created an excellent album that sums 2007 in music up perfectly. If you're on your third album you need to slightly change your style of music

Rogue Traders Are Back And Better Than Ever!

At last the Rogue Traders have released their third album and the fans will not be disappointed. I purchased this album the second it came out and im so glad i did. 'Better In The Dark' is a great a step forward for the Rogue Traders and they have a fresh new sound. This album is more 'rock' than 'Here Come The Drums' but the Traders have have still kept there unique 'electro-pop' sound that they got famous for. Better In The Dark really shows how much Rogue Traders have grown and the lyrics are much more meaningful than most of their older stuff. Some of the songs aren't as immmediately catchy as HCTD but there new sound is really incredible and everybody has got to hear it for themselves. Natalie has really proved her talent and diversity in 'Better In The Dark'. There are definitely going to be some chart-topping hits from this album soon. Overall a great return from the Rogue Traders!

Absolutely Fantastic

Another chart topping album by the Rogue Traders. Songs like Childlike and The Price We Pay show the maturity of the band while still keeping with their style and genre. A must purchase for any music lover
