Theatre Rock pre-glam

This is a brilliant album from an artist rarely recognised for some class blues / rock. Famed for the theatrical stage show, ahead of it’s time, the concept side of the vinyl (tracks 6 to 10) includes the hit single of ‘Fire’ but the other 4 songs give the story behind the single. It still stands up today, accessible and commercial, before the drugs took hold of his talent. Great stuff.
