What I love about Sufjan

Yes Sifjan's music is a little different but there is no doubt this album demonstrates his undeniable talent. With song lyrics are the perfect combination of intellectual and poetic and use of a broad rang of instruments making this album both interesting and beautiful. I LOVE IT!

Age Of Adz

I love it, it's awesome!

Remarkable

This is truly a remarkable peice. The pinnacle of an illustrious career.
Sufjan has said that his 2009 BQE release changed his songwriting process completely. Initially, this album's seemingly disjointed style is a stark contrast to his earlier folk back-catalogue, clearly manifesting that change in musical process.
However, The Age of Adz has a very distinct and comfortable flow to it. The melodies are uniquely Sufjan. It grew on me very much in the first few months I had it, and is now up there as one of my all time favourites.
The variety of instruments and musical techniques are constructed perfectly and I always feel like I've been on a journey with the artist - across a variety of terrain - after enjoying a complete end-to-end listening.
The album is truly enjoyable. Highly recommended.
