iTunes Review

Within one hi-hat, Rihanna goes from promising starlet to cocksure icon. “Umbrella”—a weapons-grade pop hit—opens this third album with its unmistakable drum beat and Jay-Z assist and ushers in a most staggering metamorphosis. The poise on her signature single is held throughout, with “Please Don’t Stop The Music” flirting confidently with its Michael Jackson sample, “Shut Up and Drive” unleashing her new, frankly terrifying confidence and “Lemme Get That” playfully returning her to the dance hall. There’s also light to the fiercest of shade (“Rehab” and “Hate That I Love You” are superior spiky ballads) as we bear witness to an explosive maturation.

Wish You bought the album the second time around ? Me too !

I bought the first album of Good girl gone bad and got pretty mad when Rihanna re-released it . Although Take a bow took my breath away , and disturbia is the best song I've heard in ages . These new ( excellent ) songs should have been on the original album !! Which was already great . If you didn't buy it before I suggest you buy it now .

Almost there.

This is a good re-release, with the 3 new tracks the best out of the rest. It could've been a little bit better though, (what happened to Hatin' On The Club?), but for all Rihanna fans, this is a must. Highlights: Umbrella, Push Up on Me, Don't Stop the Music, Breakin' Dishes, Hate That I Love You, Sell Me Candy, Rehab and the 3 new tracks.

After the let down that was "Take a Bow" one is overjoyed to see that Rihanna is not totally lost with the fantastic beats of DISTURBIA which i'm sure will take the country by storm. Thia song is fun, fresh and all that is Rihanna. DISTURBIA is AMAZING, possibly the best song since umbrella.Keep the good songs comin Rihanna and leave the whiny ones to yourself(aka take a bow). Thank God for DISTURBIA!!!

Rihanna established her dance-pop credentials in summer 2005 with her debut smash hit, "Pon de Replay," and continued to demonstrate hit potential in subsequent years ("S.O.S." in 2006; "Umbrella" in 2007; "Disturbia" in 2008). However, it was the singer's third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, that made her a full-fledged international pop star with a regular presence atop the charts.
