The Grates = Fabulous

The Grates have got to be the best thing that has come out of Australia since Silverchair. I'm not comparing their sounds, as they are very different, but I am comparing their talent levels. Their sound is pure fantastical fun and the lyrics are wonderful yet sneakily suggesting. Every song on this album is a hit - every one. From Lies right down to I am Siam (for the regular album), this album radiates excellence. If you only buy one album this christmas, buy the Grates. Gravity Won't Get you High is a works of pure genius.

listening to this cd makes me so happy and it makes me want to dance ! probably the best band i've seen live (after muse). I just love Patience's (lead singer) energy on stage. They know how to rock your socks off

love it

I love their energy, enthusiasm and i just simply love their music. It's so fun and easy to listen to. The Grates are incredibly talented and original. Great album.
