This is Breakfast In Bed

Save Me, San Francisco is a brilliant collection of songs.

This is perhaps Train's best album yet, and I say perhaps because they have several other great albums. However, Train's fifth studio album showcases numerous talents from all three original band members. Monahan's vocals on "This Ain't Goodbye", illustrates his vocal talent and passion writing lyrics. "If It's Love", is the follow up single. With a catchy beat and fun lyrics it has the potential to back "Hey, Soul Sister" as a dominant radio song. One of the highlights is the seductive and musically brilliant "Breakfast In Bed". The album finishes with the lovely acoustic number, "Marry Me", written by Monahan. The title track is the opening song for the album, demonstrating a return to Train's organic sound and appreciation and love for their native town. "I Got You", a mash-up of the Doobie Brother's "Old Black Water" is a definite standout track. It is full of Pop references and is full of excitement. "Parachute" could possibly be the third single. It has a strong and rememberable chorus with sweeping guitars- add Monahan's metaphorical lyrics and magnificent vocals and Train have accomplished a truly powerful and remarkable song. And there are still more treasures on this album!

There are eleven great songs on this album that deserve to be purchased. You will be surprised of how fun, creative and enjoyable the album is.

Train are one of the best live bands still touring today. If you get the chance or are interested in their music, they are a must see. Their songs get another life when played live. They also do tremendous covers of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith. Train are touring Australia in June if you get the chance to go you will became a fan for life.

Train is back

Train's best album yet! There isn't one song on this that I feel like I should skip. Most of the songs are pretty upbeat and easy to listen to.
Best songs are Parachute, Hey Soul Sister, Save me San Francisco, You Already Knew and I Got You. Give this a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Train were inescapable during the turn of the 21st century, when songs like "Calling All Angels" and "Drops of Jupiter" made the San Francisco residents some of America's most popular balladeers. Although formed during the glory days of post-grunge, the group found more success in the pop/rock world, where Train straddled the line between adult contemporary and family-friendly alternative rock. The hits began drying up after 2003, but Train continued releasing material throughout the rest of the...
