Customer Reviews

Give it a chance... you WILL be suprised!

I am a rock fan of the Veronicas, and so was very disappointed to hear that they had moved to a more electro pop/trance sound for their new album. And even after reading positive reviews from others on iTunes, I was still sure I was going to hate the album. And so I was very suprised when it did indeed grow on me. I will still always like their old one better, because its more rockier, but this album is indeed a very worthy purchase! My favourites are the more rocking songs 'I Can't Stay Away' and 'All I Have'. The beautifully moving 'In Another Life' and 'Someone Wake Me Up' are also on my 5 star list, slow balads. 'Popular' is the best trance track on the album, made to be turned up really loud at parties. It pokes fun at celebreties with the line 'my name is my credit card'. Those are my faves, but there isn't a bad song on the album, although if, like me, you are a fan of The Rock Veronicas, it may take a couple of listens to grow on you. So give it a chance, you won't regret it!

Great and moving in a different direction

Having been up in the air about the electronic sound of Hook Me Up - Single. I was sure I was going to hate this new album, But I DONT. I have favourites including I Can't Stay Away, Take Me On The Floor and Somone Wake Me Up. Have to say the Track List is what almost makes the album better the order is perfect starts upbeat with Untouched and ends softly with All I Have and In Another Life. Not sure this album is rock so rock fans of The Veronicas may hate it. Overall a great album that is a departure from the first album. Put it this way there will be more hit singles from this album.

These Girls Will Never Stop

Yet another fantastic album from the veronicas. this brizzie pop duo never seize to entertain their fans. Even with a new electro underground pop sound they still manage to sing out slow songs like In Another Life which in my opinion is the one song full of emotion you can tell it meant alot to Jess. The first hit Hook Me Up is soaring throught the charts and their second single yet to be released "Untouched" is beat driven and a good old rock out song for all generations. With this reveiw i would reccomend Hook Me Up for all vernicas fans or new fans to purchase it. Jess and Lisa, Great job on the release of this fantastic beat driven ablum. Kuddos to you girl, CYA AT THE CONCERT IN BRIZZIE. Luv Zoe xoxo
