4 and a half out of 5

Whenever a MoS compilation is released, i always look at what the original aim was when the series started. For the annual, it was to put forward the biggest songs of the year that got people dancing, jumping and created memories for everyone. When you compare MoSA's first one to this one, there is quite a difference. No longer do MoSA put forward a track list that compelled everyone over the year, because all of MoSA's compilations over the year cover those tracks. You can't blame them though. You would just get a tracklist that has been repeated over the year and that would get tiring considering how many other compilations MoSA release each year.

Besides that, it's good. Disc 1 is covering the lighter side of dance at the moment, and it is quite good and fresh i must say. Except for far east movement's song, they really should've put on shm's don't you worry child on instead. Disc 2 covers a lot of what is to come and the heavier, wilder and hard side of dance at the moment. So i say congrats to MoSA for putting out a decent tracklist this year. It may not cover the original aim of the annuals, but it covers a lot of the good stuff out at the moment compared to last year's annual, which was overdone in terms of appealing to everyone considering how many mainstream tracks were on there.

That time of year again!

The track list looks decent so far. Some tunes on there are questionable though, like the Far East Movement track. Couldn't they have included a remix of the song, instead of the original? Anyway, I buy the Annual every year. It's like a tradition for me. Can't wait. :)

Good but not Great

Some quality songs on this album. Usually a huge fan of the Annual and excited each year for it's release. But if the MOS considers Far East Movement and Rita Ora good artists…i don't think i can trust it anymore. Overall good album but let down by a few terrible songs.
