Not Bad at All...

Another Really good second EP from The Jezabels. 'Hurt me' in particular is excellent, definitely the standout song and probably one of the Jezabel's best. 'Easy to Love' and 'Into the Ink' are also great.
This EP is pretty different from their first, so don't expect a rehash of 'Be a Star' or 'Disco Biscuit Love'. Of course, variety is something you want in a band that’s only just starting out (hopefully).
the vocals and really unique drumming drive this EP and create an interesting, memorable sound. Highly recommended, and a steal for under $4.

Fantastic

Have seen this band perform as support but found them to be better than the main gig. The vocals are the best I have heard for a long time. Hayley and the band are electric. I am a fan!

BUY IT!

brilliant EP! one of the few bands to blow you away from the first time you hear them.
'hurt me' could well be one of the best songs to come from a sydney band this year!
love you guys.
The Spirits.

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Australian quartet the Jezabels shimmer with their anthemic, empowering approach to indie pop. Taking a socially aware stance, the band name derived from Mary's perspective that Bible character Jezebel was misunderstood or misrepresented....
