Editors’ Notes

The wild success of Wide Open Spaces turned The Dixie Chicks into superstars. We love the flawless harmonies, great musicianship, and knack for penning lyrics that swing from heartrending to hilarious. They also deliver knockout honky-tonk tunes (“Tonight the Heartache’s on Me”), sweet ballads (“Loving Arms”), and some choice covers, including a sizzling take on Bonnie Raitt’s “Give It Up or Let Me Go.” There’s not a drop of filler—the trio tears it up from start to finish.

Don't judge a book by it's cover

I bought a Dixie Chicks song and liked it, so I bought a CD but looking at the inside cover I was a bit unsure whether I'd like it, so when I listened to the songs they didn't sound too good but I found a song that I liked and kept listening, then before I knew it I was listening to the whole album over and over again! I suggest you buy it cause even though it may not seem great now, you'll just love it more each time you listen!

The Dixie Chicks further distanced...
