back to basics; beautiful

A few tracks from the album were previewed in the Australian tour in February this year... to think that Andy + Lou had disbanded with the thought that there was nothing more left for Lamb. What this album presents is a fresh sound, while returning to the familiar territory of their first four albums. The sound is familiar, yet moves beyond where What Sound (2001) and Between Darkness And Wonder (2003) left. Lou's voice sounds more and more angelic, Andy's production has developed. There is a limited edition containing a bonus track (Discord) plus 7 other mixes from the album (among them 4 instrumentals and acapella of Strong The Root... stunning) but time will see if these are made available to outlets such as iTunes.
