Editors’ Notes

Linkin Park returns to its roots on LIVING THINGS, the band’s fifth album. The first single, “BURN IT DOWN,” gives a hint with expansive guitar, shouted choruses, a rap from Mike Shinoda, and Chester Bennington’s naked vulnerability encased in a throat-shredding howl. LP fans craving the chemistry of Hybrid Theory and Meteora should immediately take to LIVING THINGS.

Customer Reviews

I stayed up till 4am australian time just to listen to this album and it was worth it!

Solid Album

Well, as Mike stated - they have returned to their roots. In the sense that there's lots of call and response between Chester and Mike. The Rock element is just as noticeable as the Electronic as well as brutal Hip Hop moments. Lyrically similar to Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns. For fans that only like "old" LP and state that this is rubbish - you're lying; as if you don't bounce your head to the likes of Victimized or the swinging rhythms of Castle of Glass.

It is such a new and different sound, unlike anything on the market at the moment - but it is VERY Linkin Park.

Thumbs down

Not happy with this album. In my eyes thy promoted it with a awesome song "burn it down" then the whole album released with soft songs with no flow. What ever happened to albums like minutes to midnight and hybrid theory?! Linkin park need to stick to there old style which made them famous.

Linkin Park added a unique spin to that formula, however, focusing as much on the vocal interplay between singer Chester...
